On Thanksgiving Day we acknowledge our dependence. William Jennings Bryan

Give thanks for unknown blessings already on their way. Native American saying

Thanksgiving

Hope springing

Atlantic defying

Nations singing

Keel unshaken

Stem to stern

Grit well proven

In the storm

Victuals supplied

Ingenuity tried

New acres betide

God's blessing

This is just to add a note of heartfelt thanks for the prayers, healing thoughts and encouragement of English friends and Red Room colleagues, both on the site and in the wings, during my recent surgery. Cancer has been removed with healthy margins and no spread was found in the glands. I am recovering well now and so grateful for the chance of a clean slate. The future is in God's hands.

It's a privilege to belong to this wonderful, vibrant community. Wishing you a joyful Thanksgiving Day!
